Why we’re coming
together

Vehicles are changing fast; more software, more ADAS, more OEM procedures, and less room for guessing. We’re bringing these brands together to give repairers more capability, more clarity, and more support, without taking away what you rely on today.

“This is a merger of performing brands, built by the experienced staff in all 3 companies, for the professionals doing the work.”

What customers can expect

By combining the best of Opus IVS, asTech, and BlueDriver, existing customers keep everything you have today—and gain the best of what’s next: better technology, expert technicians, and teams working together to help you grow and tackle complex repairs.

1
A stronger diagnostic platform

Clearer workflows, stronger diagnostics, and better ADAS identification—so you can move from symptoms to the right next step, faster.

2
Expanded services and expert help

Expanded remote support when the job gets complex—so you can get answers quickly and keep jobs moving.

1
Wider mechanical reach

Stronger mechanical coverage for day-to-day work—so more repairs stay in your shop, end to end.

The ultimate result: shops can do more in-house—even on the most complex repairs.

What stays the same on
day one

You’ll see updates over time, but the proof will show up day to day—in the tool and in the support behind it.

This is truly a combination of performing brands. The Opus CEO, Brian Herron, will lead the Diagnostics Business comprising Opus, Astech, and Bluedriver. The Repairify CEO Srisu Subrerahamanyam will continue leading Repairify and Repair on Demand. Leaders across all brands will retain responsibility for their functions and teams.
Opus and Astech are here to serve the professional repairer. We will work with insurers to help educate them on critical diagnostic work that needs to be performed for safe repair, but we won’t negotiate pricing with them for diagnostic services. Anytime a carrier wants to negotiate on pricing of calibrations or diagnostic services, we will step out of the conversation and refer them to our customers to negotiate directly.
